The Administrative Management Level 1 is a 3-modular certificate programme, designed to be delivered over 150 hours. The course provides participants with the basic skills, techniques and confidence to effectively carry out their administrative roles and responsibilities in both public and private sector organisations. These newly acquired skills will facilitate administrative professional development and career advancement in alignment with the professional pathways outlined in the Public Sector Learning Framework (PSLF). This module introduces participants to Budgeting, Cash Management and Fiscal Policy. The module further expands the participants’ knowledge in budgeting which is required in the accounting process. Additionally, they will be introduced to cash management.

The MIND Organizational Development programme is designed to enable Human Resource and Organisational Development (OD) practitioners to acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required to identify organizational and individual capability requirements. This will facilitate and improve participants’ ability to spearhead the alignment of strategy, people and processes in order to optimize effectiveness and achieve the various goals associated with the Government of Jamaica’s overall Public Sector Transformation and Modernization Programme (PSTM). It will also provide insight and leadership on change management strategy, planning and implementation, exploring the principles of organizational theory and design as well as the application of said theory and ultimately experiential learning.

The MIND/JCSA Professional Certificate in Industrial Relations (PCIR) course is designed to support the development of a core of professional Industrial Relations Officers with the requisite Industrial Relations (IR) skill set to revolutionalise the field. The Professional Certificate further provides practical insights and actual examples of managing industrial relations issues drawing on the vast experience of Jamaica’s trade unions, employers in labour relations matters and through the MIND’s academic expertise.

The MIND Post–Graduate Diploma Human Resource Management programme is designed to equip participants with cutting edge Human Resource Management skills as well as a heightened level of understanding and competence, to lead and guide Human Resource Management strategically and effectively within the organization.
To be considered for entry into this program, applicants must meet the following criteria: - A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited tertiary institution. - Experience in middle or senior management is advantageous. - The institution may also consider mature entry for applicants with a minimum of five years of relevant experience and other qualifications not listed above, contingent on a successful interview.
